Cheers to a New Year!

I can't believe another year has already passed! The older I get the quick it goes ah. I'm thankful for all the new people I have met and the opportunities I have been given. Such a great way to end the year! I'm looking forward to 2015 and I know it will be an even better year!

To the Sky

I am so relieved to be done with finals and have a break from school. It felt like forever since I got to hang out with my mom. Thankfully, I got to hang out with her all weekend and see this gorgeous sunset. I love the beach! edfe

The Breakfast of My Dreams

For the past week I have had waffles on my mind, I tend to get these random cravings. These waffles were everything I imagined them to be, so fluffy and flavorful. This little cafe is super cute with a 50's theme, hence the name 50's diner. The portions are extremely generous and everyone is always so friendly! I definitely recommend this place if you find yourself on the west side of LA.

8-Clap

I had to do the college experience and attend at least one football game. It was the first home game of the season and we won...woot woot. I don't necessarily understand football consider it a sport of my choice, but hey I'm trying. Let's just say I'm stoked for basketball season. Needless to say, it was a good experience and fun to see everyone with so much school spirit. 

Cali Livin'

I can't get enough of the beach and beautiful sunsets. If I could be at the beach all day every day I would. It's nice because Santa Monica is just a 10 minute drive and I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful city where I can be at the beach whenever I want.

Ride or Die

I love living in LA...it's so much better than boring Orange County and there is always something to do. I love being so close to my friends that we can hang out at a moment's notice. This little cafe in Venice is the bomb. Good food and cheap with huge portions! 

Desert Fun

I love Palm Springs...it's the best place to just chill, have some drinks, and lay out by the pool. It's far enough away where it still feels like a mini vacation but close enough to make a day out of it. Those were the best lobster tacos ever!!! Oh and taking that beauty for a joyride was amazing!

Oh Venice

Venice Beach is a pretty weird place but so entertaining. I love walking around and seeing all the different types of people there are. 

New Beginnings

Super happy that my hard work has paid off in getting me into a great college of which I am proud. After commuting to LA for nearly 7 years I have finally made the move! I'm thankful for all my family and friends that have supported me throughout the way. Obviously none of this would be possible without my best friend/other half/sister/mom. I am excited to see what the future holds. It's just the beginning!

I'm always a sucker for the beach and beautiful sunsets. What more could one ask for along with good friends to celebrate with.

It's a New Dawn, It's a New Day, & I'm Feelin' Good

I don't particularly enjoying hiking (although I wish I did) but I was helping a good friend of mine out for a potential job opportunity. We had to shoot some athletic clothing for a new line of clothing that Urban Outfitters is coming out with. It was such a fun day with great people and I am pleased to say my friend got the job! I was so happy I could be a part of it. Go Lauren!
