Nothing like some delicious sushi and beer for half the price. Not to mention walking distance from my apartment - winning. 

XMAS

I hosted Christmas lunch at my place and it turned out delicious (thankfully)! 

I made turkey meatloaf, green bean and brussels sprout casserole, and garlic mashed potatoes. There was so much food I'll be having left overs for days! 

The Breakfast of My Dreams

For the past week I have had waffles on my mind, I tend to get these random cravings. These waffles were everything I imagined them to be, so fluffy and flavorful. This little cafe is super cute with a 50's theme, hence the name 50's diner. The portions are extremely generous and everyone is always so friendly! I definitely recommend this place if you find yourself on the west side of LA.

Gyoza Obsessed

I don't know what it is, but lately I've been obsessed with Trader Joe's Shrimp Gyoza. It is so delicious and easy to make. It's somewhat healthy minus the carbs but hey we need carbs (anything to justify my craving) I love their lightly salted edamame too. I'm a sucker for Asian food and if it's healthy and convenient then I'm sold. Serve these bad boys with Sriracha and you're good to go!

Sushi Addict

My absolute favorite food is sushi. I could eat sushi all day everyday. We have some of the best and most authentic sushi spots in Southern California. The place that I always go is located in Seal Beach. Everyone is so friendly and the chefs ALWAYS hook it up with extra pieces of sushi. Not only that, they have the freshest pieces of fish. I mean does it get any better than that? If you're a sushi lover like me then I highly recommend checking out Sushi Ryokan in Seal Beach. Oh and all the sushi pictured above, yeah it was all for me and I ate every last piece of it.
